Celtic transfer blow as January target said not to be interested in Parkhead move

The young goalkeeper has attracted interest from the Scottish Premiership champions who were reportedly looking at a potential loan move for the player in January.
Celtic splashed the cash on Vasilis Barkas earlier this summer, though the Greek international has already lost his position as first-team No.1 to Scott Bain.

However, Solskjaer insists the recently-capped England international is happy to play back-up to David de Gea and step in whenever the Spaniard is unavailable or rested.
The Norwegian said: “Dean wants to stay at Man United and play for Man United.
“He’s come back in, he is training really well, he’s maturing. He’s had some games.
"He’s training with, for me, one of the best goalkeepers in the world. He’s got potential to be one of the best goalkeepers in the world.”
Henderson has already been confirmed as United’s goalkeeper when they meet Istanbul Basaksehir in the Champions League this evening. Solskjaer rebuffed suggestions this match was “make or break” for the young stopper.
He added: “I can’t see the logic in there being only one potential appearance left before Christmas. Do you know how many games we’ve got?
“I disagree completely that tomorrow is make-or-break for Dean.”
