The Sun are reporting that the 22-year-old left-back has caught Neil Lennon’s eye after a string of impressive performances for the Jags. And with Taylor-Sinclair out of contract in the summer, Celtic could make a move in January, as Lennon seeks competition for first-choice left-back Emilio Izaguirre.

The Celtic boss failed with an audacious loan bid for Manchester United full-back Alex Buttner in the last transfer window, but it is believed the former Montrose youngster is on Lennon’s radar.

Taylor-Sinclair has made 71 appearances for the Jags, scoring twice, since his move from the Gable Endies in 2011.

Signed by current Dundee United boss and former Firhill manager Jackie McNamara, Taylor-Sinclair has been linked with both Cardiff and Middlesbrough in the past.

• Celtic are also reportedly running the rule over Icelandic duo Holmbert Fridjonsson and Vidar Kjartansson, who have travelled to Glasgow in a bid to impress Neil Lennon following the end of the Icelandic season.

20-year-old Fridjonsson - an Iceland Under-21 striker - scored ten in 21 games for Fram last season while Kjartansson, 23, was joint top scorer in the Icelandic league, scoring 13 goals for Fylkir. There is also reported interest from Norway and Sweden in the 23-year-old.
