Arsenal were the team who were said to be the most likely destination.

However, with PierreEmerick Aubameyang signing a new deal and offer never arrived from the Gunners with other clubs in England showing greater interest.

Despite enquiries, the only offer arrived from Germany but it is reported that it wasn’t anywhere near Celtic’s valuation and was rejected immediately.

Edouard has had a frustrating season so far, despite netting six times in ten appearances, and missed the weekend’s Old Firm defeat having tested positive for coronavirus while on international duty with France’s under-21s and hadn't trained for two weeks.
