Celtic placed in second pot for Europa League draw

CELTIC have been placed in the second pot of seeds for the Europa League group stage draw which takes place today at noon in Monaco. The 48 teams will be drawn into 12 groups of four.

The Parkhead side dropped into the Europa League after losing in the Champions League play-off round to Malmö. One of Celtic’s potential opponents in the Europa group stage is Qarabag, the Azerbaijani side they eliminated in the third round of Champions League qualifying.
