Celtic loanee Jack Hendry tests positive for Covid-19

Celtic defender Jack Hendry has tested positive for Covid-19, his loan club KV Oostende have announced.

The Belgian side confirmed the news as the central defender dropped out of the squad for today’s match with Zulte Waregem and will now isolate for 14 days.

Oostsende informed their fans on Twitter as they announced the starting XI. They wrote: “Jack Hendry has tested positive for Covid and unfortunately drops out.”

The 25-year-old has impressed during his loan spell at the West Flanders club.
