Celtic loan deal row leads furious Marseille boss Andre Villas-Boas to QUIT

The wantaway Frenchman completed a loan deal back to his homeland on transfer deadline day – despite a travel hitch and being unable to catch a flight to the south of France.
However the drama continued a day later with Portuguese boss Villas-Boas offering his resignation. He claims he did not want to sign Ntcham but club officials recruited the 24-year-old from Celtic Park anyway. The former Chelsea and Spurs manager learned of his new player – and the departure of another – via the media.

Hide AdSpeaking ahead of his side’s trip to Lens, he raged: “We finished the transfer window with a player we signed. It is a decision which is not taken by me, I have nothing to do with it, I learned it this morning by the press. He is a player for whom I said no. I submitted my resignation because of it.”

Ntcham was also interesting Newcastle, and had been seeking an exit from Parkhead “for a long period of time” according to Neil Lennon.
However it seems he will not be linking up with Villas-Boas who also took issue with the departure of midfielder Nemanja Radonjic on loan to Hertha Berlin.
“I don't want any money from OM and Frank, I just want to leave because of a difference in point of view on sports policy. I cannot accept this. The management has not answered me yet.
"Even on the departure of Nemanja, I was informed only in the evening.”
