Riffing on the popular festive poem “The Night Before Christmas" the clip features the Hoops’ first-team squad assisting key worker Santa Claus after he drops his “Naughty and Nice” book.

In conjunction with the advert the club is reiterating its commitment to helping those in need by donating £10,000 to mental health charities Glasgow’s Golden Generation, which assists over-55s through four core services: day-care centres, befriending, welfare advice and over 100 weekly clubs, and The Roch Talk Project, a mental health support group for all ages that has been running for just over a year at Garngad community football side St Roch's.

Through the Celtic Foundation's Football for Good initative, around £1 million has already been contributed to those affected by the pandemic.

Narrated by manager Neil Lennon, the advert features the Hoops’ first-team squad including Greg Taylor, Albian Ajeti, Patryk Klimala, and Diego Laxalt as Santa’s reindeer while Leigh Griffiths reprises his role as a Christmas elf, comforting a young Bhoys fan who is missing going to games.

Lennon refers to fans being locked out of games, saying: “A tough time for all, a strange year it’s been, but we've all stuck together, with the bhoys in the green.

"On the telly and laptop, and even the radio, we'll never walk alone, anywhere that we go.”

The advert can be viewed on Celtic’s YouTube channel here.
