Celtic apologise to supporters as picture problems cause fans to miss opening goal

Celtic have apologised to supporters after picture problems with the club’s Paradise Pass streaming service caused many to miss the opening goal against Aberdeen.

Frenchman Odsonne Edouard gave the hosts an eighth minute lead with a deflected strike, though thousands of fans were left in the dark with a blank screen only visible for many.

The club posted an apology on social media two minutes before kick-off, while commentator Gerry McCulloch and presenter Connie McLaughlin each apologised later on the broadcast.
