Arsenal have reportedly joined the race for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard as they look to find a replacement for Alexandre Lacazette this summer.

The Daily Post claims the Gunners are on course to usurp Premier League rivals Everton and Manchester United, who have also been linked with the former Paris Saint-Germain youngster.

Edouard has struck 60 goals and 31 assists in 126 games for Celtic and his form has not gone unnoticed by some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

The 22-year-old has also notched an astonishing 11 goals in just six games for France Under-21s and is expected to be the subject of interest in the summer.

Despite reported interest from the Toffees and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, Arsenal are understood to have run the rule over Edouard on numerous occasions as they weigh up a potential bid.

Mikel Arteta’s side signed Kieran Tierney from Celtic for a reported fee of £25 million in August last year and could be willing to splash out on Edouard – but with just over two years left on his current deal he could command a much larger fee than his former Parkhead colleague.
