Noted for its incredible atmosphere on European nights, no fans will be in attendance this evening as Scotland still prohibits the presence of supporters at live sporting events.
But that hasn’t stopped a former Milan hero from stating his appreciation for the experiences he’s enjoyed at the 60,000-seater stadium through the years.
Brazilian attacker Kaka responded to a Hoops fan on Twitter when he stated his admiration for the goal which knocked Celtic out of the Champions League in 2007.
He wrote: “What a great memories I have playing against Celtic. Play in Glasgow is one of the best atmosphere in football.”
That 2007 tie was one of four occasions where the Glasgow side were drawn against the Rossoneri in Europe’s elite competition.
