AC Milan eye Fraser Forster move

Celtic goalkeeper Fraser Forster could be set for a move to Italian giant AC Milan in an £8 million move. The Rossoneri are reportedly looking to sign a new keeper in January and the Celtic man is high on their list.

Forster’s eye-catching performance in the Celtic goal when the Scottish champions visited Milan last month has sparked interest in the England stopper.

The Celtic no.1 was included in England’s squad for their final two World Cup qualifiers, but has so far had to settle for a spot on the bench behind first choice England stopper Joe Hart.

It has been suggested that a move away from the Scottish top-flight may enhance Forster’s England ambitions and with Joe Hart struggling for form so far this season a move to a European giant could appeal to Forster.

Forster’s fine displays in Europe’s top club competition this season have attracted attention from other big European clubs including Barcelona and Benfica. Barcelona defender Dani Alves claimed Forster would be the perfect choice to replace Victor Valdes when he quits the club next year.

Milan keeper Christian Abbiati signed a one year deal at the beginning of the season but has so far failed to impress, leading to Milan starting their search for a new goalkeeper.
