There is one change from the team that faced Milan on Thursday with Hatem Elhamed dropping out, replaced by Christopher Jullien as it looks like the manager is returning to three-at-the-back.

Here’s what the fans had to say on social media:

@RyanCTHughes: “Barkas after the MASSIVE Milan Free Kick error is a massive call by Lennon. Christie in after what's been mentioned Thinking face...? Lennon may be thinking no matter what he does, it's a catch 22. I just hope we get the 3pts and maybe we find a bit of consistency and momentum.”

@PatrickMurphy89: “Would love to see Edouard and Griffiths up front together like they did at the tail end of last season. Oh well.”

@culzane1: “1 up front, opposition crowd out Eddie and stop us from scoring. Plays same players twice a week all season, burning them out, meanwhile rest of squad don't get game time, so Lennon won't play them as they are not match fit. We need a new manager now to save the season.”

@iainmor26602581: “No wonder we lost thee guys to Bayern and city, with Lennon there’s no chance of getting near the first team, players out of position all the time getting his favourites in the 11, no wingers for most of the season and karamoko is not even getting a sniff of the bench.”

@marcasocat: “The players are all gutted in there. Don't know what's wrong but we are working hard on it. On the whole I think we played well but were unlucky........”

@DjrReid: “What do Soro and Turnbull need to do to get a game?”

@Fitzp89C: “Think that set up is perfect for st Johnstone to defend narrow and deep and play on the break. No width or pace where we need it. Eddy rogic and Christie will all try drop into the 10 position. Need Laxalt and Frim to play high, wide and constantly overlap. Start Griff.”

@onwardsto10: “3 centre half’s and Scott Brown to pass the ball amongst each other and back to goalie , canny wait.”
