The way football is going amidst the coronavirus, free transfers will likely prove more crucial than ever, even for Celtic and Rangers. Both will have their different financial concerns if the SPFL is unable to get back underway in the short to medium-term, while gate receipts could be impacted.
Players on expiring deals will be of interest, and possibly individuals who have had previous experience of playing for the Old Firm and in Scotland.
