German side Leipzig squeaked through thanks to a last-minute penalty from Emil Forsberg just as it looked like they’d exit European football at the hands of Ukrainian outfit Zorya. Ralf Rangnick’s men finished sixth in the Bundesliga last season.

Celtic will already be more than familiar with Rosenborg having already defeated the Norwegian champions this season.

The Hoops won 3-1 at Celtic Park, allowing them to advance to the third round of Champions League qualifying with a 0-0 draw in the return leg.

Since dropping into Europe’s secondary competition, Rosenborg have defeated Cork City and Shkendija to reach the groups.
