Celtic eyeing new sponsorship deal

The football club have been in talks with betting company DAFABET to become Celtic's main shirt sponsors.

In what could be the biggest sponsor deal in Scottish Football, the betting company are looking to replace Magners in the 2016-17 season, after the Magners three year deal runs out.

Dafabet are currently Parkhead’s betting agent, but are looking to secure a long term deal, branching out into the shirt sponsors.

John Cruces, Head of Sports Marketing and Sponsorship at Dafabet, said: “No matter where you go around the world, you always see a Celtic shirt such is their worldwide support.”

Securing a Celtic sponsorship would ensure they become a global company.

Dafabet is a 13-year-old company covering over 5,000 live events around the world in a week.
