January is a little over three weeks way and that means the start of trading, deals and signings – but not only that, the time-frame means the speculation season is well and truly upon us.

Axed Hamilton boss has thrown his hat into the ring for the latest Scottish football vacancy - at former club Falkirk. The boss was a target before Paul Sheerin took control of the Bairns but his departure after just 191 days has created an opening for the former player and assistant manager to potentially return to his former club (Football Scotland)
