Camelon produce heroics in second half

Camelon 3Bonnyrigg Rose 1

A fine game played at a hectic pace with crunching tackles and no quarter asked or given.

Bonnyrigg started the better and, just on half-time, Kris Renton headed home a corner to put them ahead after Stuart Roseburgh had brought out a fine save from Myles Hogarth and the visitors went in at the break one up.

Camelon equalised with their first attack of the second half when a Callan Kerr free kick slipped under Andy Carlin.

Worse was to follow two minutes later when Stevie Thomson brought down Blair Bachelor and Kevin Kelbie scored from the spot.

Kelbie then headed a third from a Derek Ure free-kick
before Stevie Thomson received a second yellow card and had to go. Bonnyrigg tried hard to get back into the game, but could not make the breakthrough.
