Burgh back from behind

Camelon 1 Musselburgh 2

CAMELON took the lead after 15 minutes when a corner kick was only cleared to the edge of the box and Steven Desmond met it first time and rifled the ball low into the corner of the net.

Musselburgh equalised ten minutes before the interval when a Paul Tansey cross was headed home from close range by Danny Kelly.

Burgh keeper Kieran Renton kept his side in the match with a couple of great saves and, five minutes after the restart, Musselburgh got what proved to be the winner when Kris Renton sent Paul Tansey clear down the left and his cut back found Graham Beveridge at the edge of the box and he shot high past JC Hutchison.

The home side had a strong claim for a penalty waved aside by the referee with ten minutes remaining when substitute Chris Jeffrey went down in the box following a challenge by the keeper, but it was Musselburgh who claimed the three vital points.
