Borussia Dortmund are said to be the latest big-name club to be linked to the Parkhead striker, who has hit 83 goals during his time in Scotland.

Celtic signed Edouard from Paris Saint-Germain on a season-long loan in 2017, but struck a £9m deal with PSG for a permanent transfer a year later.

The forward has been subject of much transfer speculation – including links to Arsenal, West Ham and former boss Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City. Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is also reportedly a fan of Les Bleus’ under-21 striker.

Now, according to Football Insider, Borussia Dortmund are ‘interested’ in making a move for the 23-year-old to replace Norwegian Erling Haaland.

Dortmund have a history of signing up-and-coming French players, including Ousmane Dembele and Edouard could add to that list and follow Frimpong to the Bundesliga after his £11m Bayer Leverkusen move in January.
