Blades sharpened for visit of Bury

FORMER Sheffield Wednesday player Danny Wilson took the courageous step across the city to manage Sheffield United and although poorly received at first by the Blades fans, he’s now won the vast majority over with an unbeaten start in their quest to regain Championship status after last season’s relegation nightmare.

Today the Blades host a Bury side who themselves have made a bright start in League One, but are severely handicapped by the midweek sale of their talisman and main goal threat Ryan Lowe. Hills are going 5-6 the points remain in Sheffield and they are my idea of today’s best bet.

Burton Albion are no great shakes but face a Plymouth Argyle side unsettled by a pay dispute. Evens with Hills looks irresistible. MK Dons are flying and sit at the summit of League One and could be value at 9-5 with Hills against Carlisle, who lost to Aldershot in midweek.
