Blackburn deny reports of exile for Derek Shaw

Blackburn have rejected reports that managing director Derek Shaw has been asked to stay away from the club.

The widely reported claims relate to an alleged investigation into the compensation claim made by former manager Henning Berg through the League Managers’ Association.

A brief statement on Blackburn’s official website read: “The club’s owners wish it to be known that, contrary to those widespread rumours, Mr Shaw is very much with the club and insist that all other recent reports are untrue.”
