Hops and honey have combined to create a new artisan blonde beer, helping safeguard dwindling honey bee populations across the UK.

Beehive Brae Honey Beer takes the journey from hive to bar, using British honey from beehive firm Plan Bee.

Warren Bader, chief executive and founder of Motherwell-based Plan Bee – owner of Beehive Brae – said: “Bottling the beer is the fruition of a long road.
