Football news: Draw for Malmo ahead of Ibrox clash

MALMO manager Rikard Norling insisted the pressure is all on Rangers ahead of this week's Champions League clash.

The Swedish champions grabbed a point at bitter rivals and league leaders Helsingborgs yesterday. And Norling, whose side sit in mid-table 13 points behind Helsingborgs, believes his side will have nothing to lose when they go to Ibrox on Tuesday.

He said: "We all know they have big pressure on them for this game. They're a massive club and they should go through against us. But we will see. Does it suit us being underdogs? The Swedish mentality is normally better under those circumstances.

"This derby was good preparation for us before the Rangers game. I won't know if it was perfect preparation until we leave Ibrox on Tuesday night. Now I'll begin to dig in deep, looking at Rangers' strengths. I'll do all the detailed work on them in the next couple of days. From there, we'll choose the game-plan for the first-leg at Ibrox. If we could beat Rangers and go through to the next round, it would be a huge achievement for this club."

Malmo fell behind after 25 minutes, but Markus Halsti and Dardan Rexhepi put them ahead before the break. Helsingborgs, who finished with ten men, levelled early in the second half.
