Fencing: Fencers head for Germany
The contests are part of the build up to Olympic qualifying in April and Lisa will travel on a high having just captured a third consecutive women's foil title at the Scottish Open at Meadowbank. Lisa also struck silver at the Commonwealth Championships in Melbourne after being edged out on a single hit (11-10) by Yuan of New Zealand. Also heading on to the international circuit will be Lisa's Edinburgh University colleague Catriona Sibert who represents England but who took bronze in the Scottish Open foil. Both are coached by Lisa's father, Don, an ex-Olympian.
