Fanzone: Hibernian

It's a pity the referees strike hadn't prevented our match against St Johnstone going ahead. The Maltese man in the middle can't have had an easier 90 minutes than Saturday's uneventful no-score draw. Fair play to him though - what little he did have to do was carried out with very little fuss.

The off-park shenanigans may be making the headlines but the real story should be that the product on the pitch is all too often sub-standard. This game was boring from start to finish.

There was no joy for our lone striker Colin Nish who found himself replaced by David Stephens, a centre half. That says it all about the lack of depth to our squad. The fans in the new East Stand who sang for nearly the entire 90 minutes deserve better. Roll on the transfer window.
