The charge relates to an incident which took place during the club’s 2-0 Challenge Cup victory over Dunfermline Athletic on 7 October.

It is understood that O’Hara taunted Dunfermline midfielder Dean Shiels about his missing eye.

The ex-Hibs and Rangers player had his eye removed in 2006. He was unable to see out of that eye following a domestic accident when he was a child.

O’Hara’s team-mate Joe McKee was also charged by the SFA for “excessive misconduct”.

The SFA have yet to announce the outcome of McKee’s hearing.
