F1: Team orders get green light

driver Mark Webber has played down the importance of Formula One's rule change to allow team orders.

After a season which saw Ferrari heavily fined for forcing Felipe Massa to let championship contender and team-mate Fernando Alonso past in the German Grand Prix, the rules will be changed for 2011 to make such moves legal.

Team orders have long been an issue in Formula One and Webber believes little will change.

Webber said: "It's something that's been around since the 1950s and 1960s, it's always been there.

"I've done it myself at times. I've been on the receiving end of it and done it as well in teams I've driven for in the past.

"People shouldn't get too nervous about it. They're not going to see it every weekend."
