Everton come to East Mains

A day of friendly matches between Lothian Hibernian and the Everton Foundation is to take place at the Edinburgh club's East Mains training centre tomorrow.

The Goodison Park organisation are set to bring around 35 players from their disability football programme to face teams from Lothian Hibernian, a partnership between the Easter Road club's community foundation and Lothian Special Olympics.

It's the latest event in a successful year for Lothian Hibernian which is aimed at creating and promoting positive opportunities for players with learning disabilities which, through a partnership with the Hibs youth academy helped secure the prestigious "Best Community Initiative" by an SPL club last season.

Tomorrow's matches will kick-off between 1.30 and 4.30 pm.
