Etale back in action as Spartans win King Cup

SPARTANS beat Stirling University 2-0 at Rosewell yesterday to win the King Cup.

It was Spartans third piece of silverware of the season having already lifted the SFA South Region Challenge Cup and the East of Scotland League title. David Etale, the Spartans striker who was wounded by a roadside bomb explosion in Afghanistan in November, made his first appearance since the incident and was brought down for a penalty in the seventh minute.
