Eggert Jonsson plays it cool after victory

EGGERT Jonsson was unlikely to be flavour of the month when he turned up in the Hearts dressing room yesterday.

Not only was the versatile Jambo part of the Iceland Under-21s who defeated Scotland at Easter Road on Monday, but he then proceeded to rub it in with some gratuitous gloating.

"I think my team-mates at Hearts will be happy for me as a person," Jonsson said unconvincingly, before revealing he planned to wear his Iceland kit at training: "I might walk in with my strip to see what happens."
