Edinburgh Academy through to last four

SCHOOLS RUGBY: Edinburgh Academy completed the line-up for the Brewin Dolphin Scottish Schools under 18 Cup semi finals by defeating Robert Gordon’s College 45-0 at Countesswells yesterday.

Academy, playing into a stiff breeze at the Aberdeen ground, ran in three first-half tries to lead 19-0 at the break before adding four further touchdowns after the interval. They now face Capital rivals Merchiston Castle at Colinton in the semi-finals, the dates for which have yet to be determined.
