Dundee dominate lowly Stew-Mel

JAMES Fleming snapped up a hat-trick of tries as the Taysiders crushed Stewart's-Melville 52-5 at Mayfield. Ross Lemon claimed two touchdowns, the others coming from Richie Hawkins, Harry Duthie and Matt Smith.

Jed Gordon sneaked in for the capital side's consolation try.

West of Scotland won 20-18 against Melrose at Burnbrae. Jack Walker and Murray McConnell bagged the host touchdowns, with Conor David landing two conversions and two penalties.

The Melrose scores were supplied by Callum Anderson, Alan Dodds and Scott Wight.

Currie clinched a 25-22 success against Hawick at Malleny Park.

Ross Weston, Stewart Walker and Andy McMahon claimed Currie's tries. Hugh Scammell and Greg Anderson went over for Hawick, who also had a penalty try with Graham Hogg slotting two conversions and a penalty.
