Duncan, Munro top seeds

Barnton Park's Scott Duncan tops the boys' under-18 seedings along with Lisa Munro (Nairn) in the girls event when the annual Highland Spring Waverley junior tennis tournament, supported by City of Edinburgh ACTIVCITY and Bruntsfield Sports, gets under way at Suffolk Road on Sunday.

Previous participants include four British Davis Cup players in the Murray brothers, Andy and Jamie, as well as Colin Fleming and Jamie Baker, while British No.?1 Elana Baltacha has also graced the event.

Pete Nicolson, organiser for the past 19 years, said: "Entries have increased by 20 this year to 271."

Top under-16 seeds are Alan McClure and Emily Lauder, while Ewan Moore and Emma Wilson top the under-14s and George Baird and Olivia Peake the under-12s.
