Donaldson does the business in snooker final

Perth schoolboy Scott Donaldson powered to victory over Bonnyrigg's Scott Roarty in the final of the East of Scotland Junior Snooker Championship at The Edinburgh Corn Exchange.

Donaldson, 16, who is currently No.?2 in the Scottish Main Tour rankings was just too strong for his opponent in a composed display. Donaldson took the opening frame with a 45 break before adding a 69 break to double his lead.

Roarty looked as if he would pull one back when he led by 34 points in the third frame, however, Donaldson cleared from the last red to steal the frame by one point.
