Division Two: Crawford double not enough for Fife

East Fife 2 Dumbarton 3 Player manager Stevie Crawford notched a double, but it was not enough for East Fife.

Ben Gordon had Dumbarton ahead after five minutes, before Crawford's strike levelled it on 13 minutes. East Fife were not equal for long, with Scott Chaplain scoring two minutes later.

Derek Carcary had Dumbarton 3-1 up in 38 minutes and although Crawford pulled one back ten minutes after the restart, the home side could not find an equaliser.

Stuart Noble put Alloa ahead minutes into the second half, but the visitors could not hold on for their sixth win in a row.

Top scorer Rory McAllister yet again came to the aid of Jim Duffy's men with the equaliser with 15 minutes to go.

Stenhousemuir took the lead when Kevin Motion converted a 20th-minute penalty, awarded after Neil McGowan had pulled back Robert Love.

Motion had a hand in the decisive second, after his shot was parried, Jordan Smith was on hand to bundle home a back-heeled finish from close range.

Cowdenbeath 1 Peterhead 3

Martin Bavidge gave Peterhead the lead midway through the first half and added a second after beating the offside trap on 64 minutes.

Jay Stein gave Cowdenbeath hope with a low shot, but a late Barry Wilson free kick made the points safe.
