HAZLEHEAD'S David Law fought back from three down at the halfway stage to win the Northern Amateur Open at Randpark, South Africa, yesterday.

The 19-year-old beat South African Graham Van Der Merwe by 3 and 2 in the 36-hole final, easing the pain of his play-off defeat in the South African Amateur Stroke-play after leading for most of the 72-hole event.
