Currie head coach Ally Donaldson commented: "It's fantastic for the whole club. It's a real honour to play an international side and one which the players are really up for.

"It'll be a great experience to play an international team – something the players never thought they'd get a chance to do. I'm sure they'll thoroughly enjoy the experience.

"We should get a good crowd of Currie supporters down but I'd hope that all rugby fans in Edinburgh and beyond come because the match presents a great opportunity to see an international team in close quarters because you're so close to the pitch."
