Curling: Logan keeps undefeated run intact in Perth

Stirling's Logan Gary continued his undefeated campaign at the Ramada Perth Masters at Dewar's Rinks yesterday.

He scored successive threes in the middle of the game to defeat Japan's Yusuke Morozumi by 8-2, and qualify direct for today's quarter-finals of what is Scotland's biggest annual curling competition.

Joining Logan from the "A" road, and therefore still undefeated this week, is 2009 European champion Niklas Edin from Sweden, who beat Inverness's Ewan MacDonald by 4-2 yesterday afternoon.

Defending champion Tom Brewster is also still alive, following his 5-4 "B" road win over former world champion David Murdoch from Lockerbie yesterday.
