Curling: Ice one for curler Gillian Howard
GILLIAN HOWARD outshone her fellow Murrayfield curler Colin Campbell at the Scottish Championships in Perth yesterday after taking another step towards the semi-finals.
But two defeats for Campbell's team mean they are likely to miss out even if they win their last three matches this weekend.
Howard lost 8-7 to Stranraer's Gail Munro but bounced back superbly to beat Perth's Claire Milne 8-4, a result which keeps her in the all-important top four.

They lost out to two ex-world champions in Stranraer's Hammy McMillan and Perth's Warwick Smith.
