And, while Ian Wright went on to become an Arsenal legend, the striker started his career at Palace. He made more than 250 appearances and scored 117 goals after being spotted by a club scout playing in the Sunday League. Wright formed an outstanding partnership for Palace with Mark Bright and they helped the London club lift the Zenith Data Systems Cup during his spell there.
