The Frenchman left Elland Road for Old Trafford in 1992 and went on to have a stunning career under Sir Alex Ferguson. Some will remember him for the Kung Fu kick on a Crystal Palce supporter in January 1995. Others will remember his four Premier League titles, his two FA Cups, his wonder-goals, his puffed-out chest and his turned-up collar. Following his retirement from football, he took up a career in cinema and had a role in the 1998 film Elizabeth, starring Cate Blanchett. He currently manages the France beach football team.
