First division cricket: Edinburgh Accies brace themselves for meeting with SMRH century king Tracey

THE bowling attack of basement boys Edinburgh Accies are sure to be quaking in their collective boots as they contemplate another collision with SMRH’s master blaster Brayden Tracey.

Tracey has smashed no fewer than five centuries this season, the most spectacular of which was against the same opponents earlier in the campaign.

Tracey resumed his spree last weekend by hitting a ton in the SMRH victory against Penicuik that kept them at the top of the table. And it would take a brave man to bet against him adding another to his CV this afternoon at Inverleith.

Second-placed Freuchie will need to be on their toes when they travel to face a Fauldhouse outfit buoyed by their county derby triumph over West Lothian.

The most attractive fixture on the card could be at Scroggie Park, where Falkland entertain Penicuik. Corstorphine will be aiming to make home advantage count against West Lothian.

In the West zone, Renfrew should be too strong for Weirs at King George V Park.

Second-placed East Kilbride square up to Kelburne at Whitehaugh.

Ferguslie, currently in third spot, play host to old rivals Poloc, while Stenhousemuir take on Prestwick at the Tryst at the wrong end of the table.
