Cricket: Philip leads Grange II to massive total and victory

Douglas Philip smashed his second century in a row as Grange II posted a huge 459-6 to set up an East League Division One win over Glenrothes.

Last week Philip made three figures against Holy Cross and he made 195 against the Fifers, getting great support from Scotland age-grade player James Hearn with 85 not out and 72 from Simon Taylor.

The team score beats the 441-5 scored in Division Five by Carlton III against Leith FAB II in June and is the highest in the East Leagues this summer.
