Cricket: Heriot's land Cup holders

HERIOT'S today welcomed an opportunity to test their cricketing revival at home to holders Aberdeenshire when the second round of the Scottish Cup takes place on 6 June.

The Goldenacre outfit have responded to relegation from the premiership with two league wins and followed up by beating Watsonians in the Cup at the weekend.

President Chris Jones said: "To be honest, I'd have preferred a lesser challenge but the players' attitude is 'bring it on'."
