Cricket: Corstorphine post a fine win at Tryst

RH CORSTORPHINE secured only their third SNCL Championship win of the summer when they bowled well to hold off the challenge of Stenhousemuir at The Tryst on Saturday.

Batting first, 56 from Kashif Hussain helped the visitors post 171 all out and in reply the RH Corstorphine bowlers held their nerve.

Ex-Grange man Gordon Allan returned the best figures of 3-30 as the hosts reached 154-9 from their 50 overs as the Edinburgh men won by 17-runs.
