Coldstream 1-7 Lothian Thistle: McIntosh hits treble as Coldstream are routed

A DEFENSIVE error by Coldstream gifted a chance to McIntosh and he fired in off the bar to put Lothian in front.

Then some excellent play from Lothian left Hill with a chance in front of goal and he prodded the ball under Walters and into the net. Crawford had a chance for Coldstream just before the interval after some slack defending by Lothian, but he smashed the ball into the side netting.

Coldstream's tactical change at the start of the second half paid off in the opening minutes when Mya knocked the ball into the net after a scramble in the Lothian goal mouth to out the home side right back in it.

However, a fine hat-trick from McIntosh put Thistle out of sight as they ran amok.

Gary Black then rounded Walters and squared to find Hill, who had the simple task of placing the ball into the empty net.

In stoppage time, Craig Hume broke away from the Coldstream defence and placed the ball perfectly into the top corner leaving Walters no chance.
