Cold snap puts Schools Cup semi-finals back

THE semi-finals of both the Brewin Dolphin Scottish Schools Cup under-18 and Brewin Dolphin Scottish Schools Cup under-15 competitions have been put back because of the current weather conditions. The semi-finals were due to take place next week (either on 10, 11 or 12 January), but the Scottish Rugby Union has decided to postpone the matches on player safety grounds.

As a consequence, the final of both competitions will also require to be rescheduled.

The semi-finals at both under-18 and under-15 levels have been rescheduled for the week beginning Monday 25 January. The new date for the final at both age-levels is Thursday, 11 February at Murrayfield Stadium, with the under-15 event kicking-off at 6pm and the under-18s at 7.30pm. Admission is free.
