Christian Nade in contract talks with Hearts

CHRISTIAN NADE is in discussions with Hearts over a new three-year contract which would keep him at Tynecastle until 2013.

Hearts officials stressed today that no deal has been finalised for the 25-year-old Frenchman and that talks remain ongoing between Nade's representatives and the club hierarchy. The proposed contract would include the option of a year's extension until 2014.

Nade joined Hearts in August 2007 on a three-year contract from Sheffield United. He has been less than prolific in Scotland, scoring only ten goals in over 80 competitive appearances.

With his present deal due to expire in June this year, he is hopeful of finalising his future to remain in Edinburgh.
