Changing room chat: The Tatling bows out with a victory

ONE of the most popular racehorses in training, The Tatling, brought the curtain down on his remarkable career with a fairytale victory at Wolverhampton yesterday.

Making his 176th and final appearance, Milton Bradley’s pride and joy was searching for an unlikely win in the Dine In Horizons Restaurant Handicap. The 2004 King’s Stand winner, now 14, was slowly away, but the 16-1 shot flew late under Richard Kingscote to win by a short-head, the 18th victory of his career. “What a wonderful story,” said Bradley.
