Celtic boost over injury to Cha Du Ri

Celtic have confirmed defender Cha Du Ri will be out of action for one month after picking up an ankle injury.

Manager Neil Lennon feared the South Korea international, who suffered the injury at training on his return from the Asia Cup, could be out for the season, but further assessment has allayed his worries. A statement on the club's website read: "The club is pleased to report he will be out of action for no more than up to one month."

Meanwhile, Hearts striker Kevin Kyle is to continue a course of injections in a bid to cure his groin problem, rather than go for surgery.

Manager Jim Jefferies revealed that Kyle, who has missed the past six games due to the problem, is set to again be absent for this weekend's SPL match with Dundee United and fixtures beyond that.

"We have spoken to the consultant and it's been decided not to go for surgery," Jefferies told Hearts TV. "The feeling is that a series of injections will help towards recovery."
